In January 2025, I began my first job after graduation. It has been magical to say the least! I currently serve as The Walt Disney World Government Relations Intern, supporting the Disney Experiences line of business.
In this role, I research and strategize on issues and policy pertaining to the business, our guests, and our cast members. I have built successful relationships with internal and external partners and organized events for community stakeholders. I was also offered an extension to stay with the company for an additional six months based upon my achievements in the role.

Leadership Orlando Graduation
In October, I lead my first big event. I hosted 80 participants from Central Florida’s largest leadership class for an unforgettable day of programming and unique Disney fun at Epcot. This was an opportunity to work with both external and internal stakeholders on the execution of a goodwill event that reminded local leaders of Disney’s role in the local community and economy.
Once Upon a Wish Party
One of the most rewarding parts my internship was the ability to collaborate with WDW Corporate Social Responsibility. I was a part of the biannual Once Upon a Wish Party, granting wishes for 50 children and their families in association with Make a Wish Foundation.

Community Events
As the Government Relations Intern, I have had the opportunity to be present in the Central Florida Community. I have attended over 10 community presentations, luncheons, and networking gatherings to represent Walt Disney World.
